Coach Orr announces pre season camp dates
Returning vets will benefit from the squads first preseason training camp, which has been confirmed for the weekend of 11 September 09. Coaches Rep, Donny McCormick
said "The entire squad is really looking forward to what we hope will be the first of many preseason weekend camps, as it really allows the guys to get a head start on the
playbooks before returning to university on the 14th."

GB Lions call up for Clansmen stand-out
Following a stand-out season, Offensive Lineman and Team President Andrew McManus has been justifiably rewarded with a call up to the GB Lions National squad. Andy
said of his selection "To receive a call up to represent my country is the greatest honour of my sporting career and i'd like to thank everyone in the Clansmen organisation
that helped me make this possible"

Both Clansmen MVPs do team proud
Both Adam Dabbs and Andrew McManus worked their way onto the playing squad for the game and finished the day as first team selections, with Adam making several key
plays, including defending a certain touchdown pass and Andrew earning a call up to team GB for his outstanding work on the offensive line.

Clansmen players selected for the MVP North squad
Despite only four Scottish players making the Northern Conferences' Most Valuable Player squad, the Clansmen were still well represented with two of those selections
coming from the team.
Adam Dabbs was chosen as the only Defensive Back selected from Scotland and Andrew McManus as one of the three other Linemen selections.

Coach Orr has been rewarded for the top ranked performance of his defense in 07/08 with a call up to the MVP North team. Coach Orr said "I am delighted with the call up
but more because it recognises the excellent work of the entire defensive squad during our undefeated championship season"
