Welcome to the home of Scotland's most illustrious American Football Club, the University of Stirling Clansmen.

If you've ever watched gridiron on television and wondered what it would feel like to strap on some pads and buckle up a helmet, now's your chance to do so and learn why American Football is known as the sport of kings.

The Clansmen welcome students from all Central Belt Universities' and Colleges, so whether you're big or small, fast or not so fast we'd love to meet you any Wednesday or Saturday afternoon at our training facilities on Stirling University campus. And please don't worry if your knowledge of our sport only extends to enjoying the spectacle of it on television because training is given in every aspect of the game, so no prior experience is necessary.

Socially, the Clan is an excellent way to meet like minded people, many of whom will no doubt become life long friends. We pride ourselves on being a socially active club throughout term time and beyond, with many events held throughout the year.

On the pitch, we will this season celebrate 25 years of history with our silver jubilee. Unprecedented success is an essential element of that history, which is why in this current decade alone, the Clan has won five Scottish Championships, one British title and currently sit proudly again, as undefeated Scottish Champions.

Even if you'd rather help out in some other way than playing, the Clan would still welcome your input as a valued member of our team, so please drop us a line anytime on clansmen-recruits@hotmail.com
